T3 7oz Hybrid Gloves

My hand measures 8.5" and I can fit the large with hand wraps underneath (although, I've gotten in the habit of not wearing them with these gloves), it's tight, but I think that will break in better overtime. The worst part of the fit is on the pinky, the finger strap is too large or too far up and this prevents a full closure of the fist, but not so much that I can't throw power punches and it still feels like a solid alignment. That said, I don't think I would size down and I expect that the fit will get better with more use. The padding and wrist protection is excellent, I've had no issues on the heavy bag, but I like these most for the double end bag. Nice speed and size to them. The stitching, material, etc. all seem well made. The double wrist strap and open palm design are worthwhile features. I've got a pair of 9.0z Windy bag gloves and a pair of 16oz Ring to Cage C17s and the Hayabusa's are my all around favorites. I also had tried these side by side with some 7oz Sanabul hybrids, but the sizing on those (L/XL) was way off. Obviously still training with C17 16oz's (excellent gloves), but the Hayabusa's fully replaced any desire I had to use the Windy's and they're just really versatile for doing anything around the gym (And I can queue up songs on my phone or blow my nose, lol).

Writing this review after about 3 weeks of use, working out 6 days a week, not ama/pro, just for exercise/hobby; at this point, if I lost them, I would probably but another pair or at least…
