I felt like I was taking a little gamble on this one after looking at different sites and also other Hayabusa short on this site. However, rhese shorts are flat out awesome. I'm 6' 220lbs mostly in the midsection, and I bought the large and it fits perfectly. The look is as good as you see in the pictures. The quality and feel and thickness is better than any other pair of MMA/grappling shorts I've owned. Super comfortable. Elasticity to be able to pull it past your hips and back into a tighter area of your waist is great; you can see it extend and retract. The velcro piece covers the crotch area and from right to left, and it is not that wide; probably 1 inch tops, and many shorts out there are wider. I will be using these for Jiu-Jitsu No Gi training and MMA training. Excellent product!
