Possessing a will to motivate and battle through adversity, Kaitlyn Clark is not one to give in to a challenge. As a student at Ottawa’s Carleton University, she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, a condition that causes the immune system to attack the body’s joints. So many of her nights were filled with restless sleep and discomfort, which led to fatigue during the day. Kaitlyn continues to forge ahead in her love for boxing. Clark earned bronze in the 2017 Ontario Golden Gloves and the following summer collected silver at the 2018 Ontario Bronze Gloves Tournament in Toronto.
“The double strap fits my wrists really well. I can’t use other gloves because my hands get aggravated."
