The Background
In 2010, Hayabusa began collaborating with Shawn "The Coach" Tompkins on a series of ‘coach's equipment’. Shawn Tompkins, one of the premiere striking coaches in MMA, was instrumental in the design and development of the Pro Training Series™ geared specifically towards the unique needs of a professional striking coach.
Sadly, Shawn passed away in his sleep August 14, 2011 and was not able to see the final results of his work. Shawn’s family encouraged the launch of the Pro Training Series™ knowing that it is what Shawn would have wanted. A portion of the proceeds of every sale of all the products in the Hayabusa Pro Training Series™ line goes to the Tompkins family.
